Story
First, a BIG thank you to all who supported Mending Kids at last year's LA Marathon and 5k run! Your support mended 98 children in Guatemala, and allowed Mending Kids to begin developing a program in Tanzania that will both directly provide life changing and life saving surgery to children in Tanzania, but will also train ENT residents there. That's the impact that you had. Real, life altering impact.
This year my daughter Sigal Arielle Willner, who is also my favorite running partner, and I are running the ENTIRE marathon!! Personally, I think I'm nuts, and I waited to post that I was running until I did a 20 mile run, which Sigal and I did yesterday!
Sooooooh, I'm back asking for y'all's support. It's easy to donate and any amount is a great amount.
What I've learned, in my 5 years of going to help kids in Guatemala and Tanzania, is that I am lucky to be able to be a part of Mending Kids, lucky to be able to work with the the most caring, professional, and fun doctors, nurses, scub techs, Mending Kids staff, and volunteers, and lucky to be able to positively change the lives of hundreds of kids in need.
And I've also learned that none of this can happen without generous help of those who donate.
Thank you for your caring, your concern and your contributions.
