Story
Aylesbury Sailing Club is a warm, welcoming place that is orientated around encouraging new people to come down and give sailing a go. We are family orientated and strive to make sure every member feels welcome, and part of the club family.
During recent years we have seen some of our club members face the fight against cancer, as well as club members' families. Over the last 4 years we have taken part in the Largest Sailing Event in memory of Andrew Simpson, and have helped fundraise for the charity. This year we were given the option to fundraise for a charity of our choice, and decided to choose one that meant something to the club family.
The 'Cancer Care and Haematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital' is both a local charity, as well as a charity that has helped many patients with the fight against cancer. For this reason we wanted to show our support and help raise money for them as a thank you for the hard work that they do, to help both patients and their families.
We would love it if you could donate and help us show our appreciation towards the 'Cancer Care and Haematology Unit'.
