Story

Wondered who's been running around the village dressed as Spider-Man?  I'm not sure who he is but he's asked me to pass this message on...

The RAF Central Fund works to safeguard the health and wellbeing of serving RAF personnel by enabling them to access sport and physical activites. Like many other charities, ours has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic as we will miss out on important fundraising opportunties due to the cancellation and postponement of mass sporting events.

Having served in the RAF for 10 years, and having many friends still serving, I am aware of the challenges that they are going through in order to keep us safe.   This little bit I can do for them is my little way of thank you.

SPIDERMAN'S 2.6 CHALLENGE

On Sunday, 26th April at 1010 (when the Marathon should have started) Spiderman will run round the village for 26 minutes, trying to go as far as possible in that time (it's extremely hot in the suit).  Please come out (at a safe distance) to cheer me on.  If I raise enough, I'll run further...
