Rebecca's Fundraiser

Durrell Challenge 2020 · 27 September 2020 ·
Due to Covid this year my mum and brother Andrew spent nearly 4 months isolating at home, they now can’t fly and go away on holiday, so I am taking them for a trip away to Jersey. During this trip I’m participating in a 13km run for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust as I want to get more involved with charity work with something I feel passionate about. I’m hoping this will be a nice day out for us where we get to go round the zoo afterwards and raise some money for a good cause.
Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is an international charity working to save species from extinction. Established by author and conservationist, Gerald Durrell, in 1959, Durrell’s overall aim is for more diverse, beautiful and resilient natural landscapes in which species can thrive and people can enjoy a deeper connection with nature. This approach concentrates on the most threatened wildlife in the most threatened places.
