**When you donate please put BTFL in your message so the money can go to Birmingham Trees for Life campaign!**

We are a team of Year 9 students from King Edwards VI Aston School in Birmingham, taking part in Envision's Community Apprentice programme which develops employability skills and confidence in young people through community participation (bit.ly/2WlSZP2).

We have chosen to raise awareness and funds for Birmingham Trees for Life, because we are passionate about the environment and trees are such an important part of our environment! Before the Coronavirus outbreak, we ran a Kahoot quiz in an assembly for year 7, 8 and 9 students about the importance of urban trees and Birmingham Trees for Life's work.

Our planned fundraising event has been cancelled due to the pandemic. However, we are still passionate about the charity and completing our project, so please help us to reach our goal and support this local cause! The page will close on 15th May 2020.

About the charity

For more than 90 years the Birmingham Civic Society has championed civic pride and worked to make Birmingham a better place for its citizens, visitors and workforce. Specifically in the areas of planning, citizenship with 'the next generation awards', heritage and our 'trees for life' campaign.
