Mencap is the leading learning disability charity, passionate about changing the world for people with a learning disability - all 1.5 million of them. 

The charity is very close to my heart, having a son Adam, who was born with downs syndrome. 

Down's syndrome, also called Down syndrome, is a genetic condition that usually causes some level of learning disability. A person with Down’s syndrome will have some degree of learning disability, but the level of ability will be different for each individual. 

I want to raise awareness of down syndrome and difference and I am asking for your support for this amazing charity, which is close to my heart. 

I will be kicking off my fundraising on World Down Syndrome
day, on the 21^st March 2021 - where is will be walking, running and cycling a total of 363kilometres – which is equivalent to the number of days my beautiful son Adam was alive - please support me.
