Story

My mother-in-law, Janina Nowosielska was diagnosed with cancer at the end of last year. This was quite a shock to her family and friends because of the active life she led, but apparently she had this condition for years. Unfortunately in December 2013 she had a stroke and was admitted into hospital. A week after this she had a heart attack but over the weeks and months she stayed in Frenchay hospital, she improved and was well enough to come home. Unfortunately after some weeks, she had another stroke and returned to hospital. She passed away a week later.

Janina was an amazing woman, very strong and extremely kind and well respected lady.

During her illness, Janina and her family were supported by Macmillan charity and in gratitude of this support, I  would like to raise money for a very worthy cause.

I am going to ride my mountain bike from Bristol to Abergavvny and back, a ride I usually do on my motor bike, but am going to swap the motor for pedal power.

This is approximately 80 miles. I would really appreciate your support to this great charity and in respect and recognition for my wonderful mother-in-law, Janina, I would like to dedicate this event to her.

Please join me in the event by sponsoring me, but if any of you would like to saddle up then please feel free. I am going to do this in June and will keep updating this page on my progress.

Many thanks

Tony Gaetani
