We are a Thanet NCS (National Citizen Service) team and we need your help!

As part of our social action project, we have decided to raise money for the Cheerful Sparrows in Thanet. They are a very important charity within the local area but receive little government funding, despite helping families and individuals in need by providing what may seem like the most basic things, but mean the world to those facing hardship. However, they also work within the Cheerful Sparrows wards at the QEQM Hospital and have recently realised that, for a patient, a hospital is not a fun place to be. This is is why they have decided to buy several boomboxes for their hospital ward and make it a friendlier place, which is where we come in. We want to help pay for these by doing a sponsored 80s themed walk around the length of the Thanet Loop (around 11 miles), and we need your donations. We're hoping to raise around £400 to fund the boomboxes and give back to our local community and any help you could give would be greatly appreciated by both us and the Cheerful Sparrows. Even if you can't donate, just spread the word to help raise awareness of this crucial charity.
