Story

26th April should be the date of the London Marathon. As it’s not happening right now a lot of sponsorship may not be raised to support many deserving charities.  So we thought it would be a good idea to do as much as we could for them and follow the trend of backyard activity.

4 or 5 of us will complete laps of our own garden/yards and attempt in total to do over 30 miles in total. My lap is 100m very twisty and I think I will be doing over 100 laps

Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
