In conjunction with Sacramento Rotary, I am raising money for the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery.  This is my 8th year helping the cause, and I am hoping that this year is the best year ever!  

I am going to experience PAIN and a Refrain (or two) for the Crisis Nursery's GAIN.    I am going to swim a couple miles, Kayak down the American River, and then play in the Rotary Roadies Band on Capitol Mall after the Bike Ride on September 30th.  

The Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery protects our communities most vulnerable children by offering a safe, supportive environment during times of crisis.  The Crisis Nursery provides free, 24 hour emergency child care for children from birth to age five. The Crisis Nursery reduces incidents of child abuse and decreases family violence by offering a safe place for children and support services to adults.
