Site to Site Walk 2022 · 16 September 2022

Humber Rescue is an independent lifeboat charity, which is not part of the RNLI, providing 24/7 emergency response across the Humber Estuary. Operated completely by volunteers, we save lives on the Humber Estuary.

Story

Teams from BAE Systems Brough and the AMA Humberside are taking part in the mighty challenge of walking from one site to the other approx. 19miles on 23rd June 2023 in aid of Humber Rescue. (after postponing the event in September last year)

Both teams will walk across the famous Humber Bridge so showing support for this important Local Charity seems fitting for this Event.

Humber Rescue is an independent charity that offers fast response search and rescue operations on the Humber Estuary, covering 540 square miles, including the River Hull, Trent, Ouse and the River Humber. They receive no funding from the government and are separate from RNLI so rely on donations from the public and through fundraising events.
