Steve, Stew and Oli are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 on Sunday the 2nd April for Versus Arthritis. Any amount you can sponsor us will be greatly appreciated and will go towards important arthritis research and many other related conditions such as JIA, Lupus and Uveitis - which causes blindness in children and adults. Please help us raise some money for this
really worthy cause, so Versus Arthritis can continue to develop life changing treatments and support.
We are the BaldBros: three (believe it or not) non-blood related bros who are lacking hair on top to keep our brains warm so we decided to make a difference by running instead.
Steve is Content Manager at Versus Arthritis, he's 38 with a 2 year old son and one on the way. Up until a year ago, weighed nearly 20 stone. He has since lost 6 stone and can now run more than 1 mile which is what he basically now does every day simply taking care of his boy.
Steve is undoubtedly the bro with the most hair and has agreed to have his hair shaved off if he finishes behind the other two bros on April 2nd. This will be posted as updates on this page, so you're not only giving to a great cause in Versus Arthritis, you're also getting excellent value for money by seeing a disgruntled man losing the last 25 hairs that he's been hanging onto for dear life.
Stewart is the Lead Designer at Versus Arthritis. Like Steve, I am also 38 years old, with a four year old daughter and a one year old son. I usually run to either catch a train that I’m about to miss, or to quicky make it to the sofa to stop my son throwing himself off it, head first. So this half marathon fills me with both excitement and a little fear, knowing that I need to cover more than a few yards this time. However, running alongside my fellow bald bros and with your support and sponsorship – this will all be well and truly worth it..
Oli is Versus Arthritis' Multimedia Producer and can usually be seen on the sidelines capturing footage of volunteers running marathons across the nation. This time, he's decided to hop over the fence and take part himself.
Oli is the youngest bro but boasts the largest belly, which is 99% of the reason why he's decided to take part in this run.
