We have chosen to raise money for this wonderful charity in Baldev's name (affectionately known as Nicky) as she was heavily involved in their work after she was diagnosed with her first breast cancer in the Nineties. Whilst this cruel disease wasn't what took her beautiful soul away from us, the Breast Cancer Action Group remains a very important charity to us. We saw how much fun Nicky had whilst fundraising with them (she even wore a tutu once in good spirit and walked the catwalk despite being so shy) but more importantly, we have seen first hand how much support the group provided for her (a great source of comfort for us) and know that the money they raise is put to excellent use. She was a proud treasurer of the charity and we know their accountant will miss her impeccable end of year summaries.
