Firstly, I would like to personally thank each and everybody who visits this site that I have set up, I just wish I never had to do it In the first place. Our story is probably similar to hundreds of other families up and down the country. There is me, my lovely partner Tracy, and our beautiful sons Daniel, Mark, Matthew and baby Louis.
Tracy first noticed a lump In her breast in May, since then our lives have spiralled like tumbleweed In the wind. Tracy has been into hospital and had a lumpectomy to remove a cancerous lump. Tracy has also started chemotheraphy a couple of weeks ago which will last approx six months then she will have to start radiotheraphy and a course of drugs for five years.
Me and Tracy have both had a lot of knocks In our lives before, but like everyone else you have to bounce back and be strong, but there are times when you think why us again? I'm so proud of Tracy for fighting this wicked disease, when you hear the dreaded word cancer, no matter how much you try and want to, your life and the lives of the people closest to you changes forever. As much as I try to understand how Tracy feels I know I can never fully understand because I'm not the one going through it, I wish and pray that there was some magic wand I could wave and make this nightmare go away, a part of you feels helpless that you can't stop this happening.Tracy has good and bad days like everybody who is going though this,on the bad days she thinks she is not coping, but I think she is coping remarkably well.
Tracy has always been a honest, loving, caring person, who has never taken drugs or abused her body, it just doesn't seem fair that this had to happen to her.
The treatment from start to finish will roughly take a year of our lives but after that hard year we will have the rest of our lives together.
Thank you all for reading this, and making a donation
Love you baby xxxx
