I have decided to organise another charity football match this year, after the previous scheduled match was postponed due to covid in 2020! With the first year being such a great success, we will make this an annual event (unless there’s any further pandemics!) 

This year, we will be raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity. This is a charity very close to the hearts of those who knew Charlie. They aim for a World where brain tumours are defeated, however research into brain tumours is extremely underfunded with treatments unchanged in 40 years. Currently, progress is not happening fast enough and more needs to be done if a cure is to be found. Hence why we decided that this charity is the most appropriate, in order to make a difference to someone else affected.

When: Sunday 26th June (6:00pm Kick off) 

Where: Goals Southend, Prittlewell Chase, Southend-on-Sea, SS0 0RT

The fundraising goal has been set at the amount achieved on the first year and it would be great to match it again this year! Any donations would be greatly appreciated and donations can also be made on the day. 

The bar will be open on the day for food and drink so please come down and show your support! Hope to see you all there for another chance to remember our Charlie and thanks for all your support!
