Story
Sunday 26th April would have been the 40th London Marathon. For obvious reasons, that can no longer happen.
Charities across the globe are facing massive losses to their income as a result of the situation we find ourselves in and with blood cancer patients making up 115,000 of the 1.5million people being asked to shield for at least 12 weeks, charities like Blood Cancer UK need our help now, more than ever.
That's why i'm taking part in the 2.6 challenge - asking people to set themselves tasks based around the number 2.6.
I'm going to be running 2.6K to the local park, and 2.6K back with 26 helium balloons attached and i'm REALLY scared I'll float away.
Please dig deep and give what you can. We're close to being able to successfully treat every type of blood cancer, but that won't happen without investment in research.
Because Blood Cancer UK need your help to keep going.
Thank you!
