Hello everyone. I am one of the wellbeing champions for BAM Construction in the North West. Our group is currently 19 strong and together we are working with our construction colleagues to offer support and generally raise awareness of good mental health and wellbeing. We meet regularly as a group and wanted to do an event to raise funds for a good cause and one which also helps support our colleagues in the construction industry. After getting our heads together we came up with the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge and were instantly drawn to The Lighthouse Club. The Lighthouse Club Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. We felt, as a group, that this fits with our efforts to support our colleagues and supply chain and was the perfect choice.

So please support me and our group and wish us luck on 6th May this year when we will tackle the 24 mile trek up and around the three Yorkshire Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.
