Story

I recently visited Pakistan and got to see the real effects of inflation on an already struggling population.  Where access to basic necessities is uncertain the idea of free access to healthcare for the frail and elderly, widows and orphans eligible for zakat may sound alien.

Not only is this free but offered from a fully renovated building with an intensive care ward, pharmacy, Eye care unit, gynaecology department, a dental care unitand kidney & dialysis unit.

Bangrilla Community Hospital provides all of this alongside receiving the blessing and prayers from patients and their families.

One instance of a father cursing and wishing death upon his daughter due to hercries of pain caused by pancreatitis, I will never forget.  The father could not afford the treatment for his daughter and had no other option. A visitor heard who heard the moans of this poor girl spoke to the father and made them aware of Bangrilla Community Hospital.  This was an extremely heart touching moment and I hope, with the will of Allah (swt) Bangrilla Community Hospital continues their fantastic work.

I would appreciate your support in ensuring the poorest and most deprived people in Pakistan have access to free healthcare when they need it the most.
