A Banner Homes six man team cycled from London to Paris between 6th and 8th June 2013 in fabulous conditions and with only a few technical problems! The cycling team included Paul Hamilton from Towelrads.com and Mick Philpot from Philpot & Co, both of whom do a lot of work with Banner. Ross McArthur, Steve Rule, Marc Coulon & Piers Banfield completed the Banner team. We have been raising money for Cancer Research UK – a charity which has helped to double cancer survival rates over the last forty years. We have all lost friends or family to cancer, but also know others who have successfully fought or who are fighting this disease. The funds raised will not only support this fantastic charity, but also provided us with the inspiration to cycle on through the 225 miles that we had to cover in three days. The trip was the culmination of a huge amount of training and effort by all of us and we are immensely grateful for the all the support we have received so far.
