The Kadhimiyya (Holy Shrines) Tile Project is well underway with the support of The World Federation. The team on the ground in the Haram of Al-Jawadain (a) has commenced upgrade works within the Sahans of Bab al Murad, Bab al Qiblah and al Quraish. The Shrine receives over 10,000 Zawwar each month; thus replacing the tiles with with durable Greek Thassos Marble will ensure their comfort and safety whilst performing Ziyarat.The Sahan flooring and walls are being renovated over a surface area of little over 12,000 square metres.
