I'm sure you will all agree what a beautiful photo we've chosen of Jean Murray , her smile can light up any room !

At the turn of the year we received the news that she had Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia, and we now as a family cherish every moment we all have .

Johnathon and I didn't have to think hard about accepting this challenge when we think of the everyday challenges this illness bares on the patient . 

We will complete the race and achieve our personal goals and by doing so can replicate the fight this illness brings upon so many .

Our wish will be that my mam/ nana can see us and recognise the achievement when we cross that finish line .
