Event: Lost Hours Walk, from 26 October 2019 to 27 October 2019
In memory of Thomas Evans
When it hurts we talk. When the clocks go back we walk. 11pm, Sat 26 October: Time to unite against suicide. As time goes backwards, we're walking forwards to campaign against feeling shit, against struggling in silence, against living miserably.

Story

Many of you will know that our beloved Tom died from Suicide at the end of 2018.  This tragedy has turned our lives upside down.  At the time of Toms death we chose to support CALM. The Campaign Against Living Miserably is leading a movement against suicide the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.   I have chosen to continue to support them across a number of activities which will happen over the next 12 to 18 months.  For this event I am joined by my dear friend Gill who lost her son Matt some 11 years ago from a tragic car accident.  She has been a pillar of support to me and together we are walking the 20 miles in The Lost Hours walk across London.  CALM has created the Lost Hours Walk for everyone who has lost someone to suicide, or who cares, as we do, about the thousands of lives lost every year. The event will take place overnight on 26 October 2019, the night the clocks go back.
