Story
I spent the most amazing time at BEES - together with the incredible Emily and Burm and all the beautiful and rescued animals.
You know what? They are happy there. All of them. And you can see it. And it makes you cry, when you hear how they were treated before that.
Mae Kam, this beautiful strong elephant lady, watching her walking proudly in the jungle is a visual poem. And her life looks even better, because she has a very good friend at Bees. Her name is Mae Jumpee who is an old lady with beautiful eyes. Mae Jumpee is not a fan of dogs. So, when they come close she will trumpet. You know what happens? No matter where she is? Mae Kam will come, leaving everything she just did behind and look after her dear friend. She will protect her, comfort her.
So, if Mae Kam has to leave BEES, (because her owner is greedy and wants more money) we have two elephants missing a friend, and one of them even has to work under horrible circumstances again, working in a f***ing stupid tourist camp, carrying uneducated tourists and being abused again (all the scars on her back are from being hit with a bullhook)
Please, in appreciation of wildlife and people like Emily and Burm who dedicate their life to it: donate.
