Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), is a type of obstructive lung diesease characterised by chronically poor airflow. It typically worsens over time.

Barbara was diagnosed with severe COPD in July 2012. She became dependant on oxygen. This lead to heart problems and she sadly passed away on 19 January 2014.  She was an amazing wife, mother, nana and so much more. She will be sadly missed.

Her family have set up this page to raise awareness and funds for The British lung foundation.
