Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm off again! This time I'm going to climb KILIMANJARO in Africa!  I think I've become addicted to helping Macmillan by doing these treks. This is the 4th that I'm about to embark on - Iceland 2005, China 2007 & Peru 2009.

I have lost my Mum & my sister to cancer & this is just a small way of showing how much I care.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

My friend Sue in Spain sponsored me £50, Avon customer Eva £20 & Mo at blood doning £10

30th/31st May

Nana held a stall in the Devizes fleamarket & managed to raise £58 selling china - she said it brought back memories of when she did sales every week!

5th June

Had a whip round in the pub when the Full Motley were playing & collected £114.

12th/13th June

Am doing a collection in the Cornmarket on Saturday & a name the teddy in the park on Sunday

The collection raised £84 & the teddy £26. There were so many fundraisers in the park that I was pleased to get that much!

The lovely people in the Cornmaket collected £51 in sponsorship & will carry on for the duration

16th June

Quiz Night at the Wessex was good fun & raised £125

20th June

The Warminster Wobble held a fun day in the park & I had a tombola which raised £78

10th July

Holding a Ceroc freestyle & hoping lots of dancers turn up to make it a ggreat evening. My good friends Steff & Pauline are coming along to help even though they don't do Ceroc - who knows they may be converted!

After expenses the evening raised £260 with some more sponsor money coming in from Richard, Sandra & Jim

6th August

Quiz Night at the Cons Club

The Quiz raised £135 & 'Guess how many Sweets in the Jar' another £66

4th September

I'm doing a can collection outside Sainsburys in Frome on Saturday so hope that''ll boost the funds a bit more!Andrea & Paul will be  helping & maybe the citizens of Frome will be generous.

Well-they were very generous! £639.75 (+I.84 in euros!)

My friend Jill has a 'Guess the sweeties' in Cordons & that's chugging along nicely

This raised £46 & there is now a Christmas one on the counter!

My good friend & Slimming Club teacher organised a sponsored slim over her classes & presented me with a cheque for £1072!!

Collection in Morrisons in October - £476. Thanks to the locals.

The Cornmarket did a 'Name the Teddy- £50

Laura & her friends held a 'Festive Fun & Frolics' concert in St Mary's church, Upton Scudamore-another £161!
