Having caught the 'bug' after completing my first charity race last October for Run 10K at Hampton Court, I'm taking part in the Race for Life 5K in Epsom in June 2011.

I'm hoping for much, much, much better weather this time (it was very wet and muddy at Hampton Court!!) and will be getting back into training so that I can finish the 5K in a respectable time.  Now that the days are getting longer, there'll be no excuses ...!

Cancer Research is a charity that I wholeheartedly support.  My mum died from cancer and I know too many people who have also been affected.  Recent news of a dear friend has spurred me on to sign up for this race so I'm hoping that you will also dig deep to support this great cause and donate generously.
