We will be raising money for Humanity First's Classroom Transformation Project (CTP) by taking part in the Mercy4Mankind Charity Challenge which involves a Run, Walk or Cycle.
It costs just over £20,000 to build one school. We hope to raise a total of £100,000 through personal sponsorship and Barclays' Matched funding for Humanity First to build and equip four schools.
These areas in Africa are in desperate need of schools and basic school equipment. Humanity First have launched the exciting 'Classroom Transformation Project' which involves using paint, posters, books and classroom equipment in order to completely transform a classroom! Humanity First has launched a Classroom Transformation project under its Knowledge for Life programme. The aim is to build new schools and turn drab classrooms in exisiting schools in low income countries into vibrant learning environments which inspire students and teachers alike.
