Street League supports young people aged 14-30 who live in disadvantaged communities to help them overcome their socio-economic barriers to employment and give them the opportunity to build brighter futures. Sport is at the heart of our programmes, developing self-worth, confidence and motivation.

Story

We are raising money for Street League, the national charity which uses the power of football to change lives. Street League delivers a combined football and employability Academy programme across the UK to support unemployed young people, aged 16 to 24, who face socio-economic barriers to sustained employment, education and training. Street League's award-winning Academy programme helps young people develop vital life-skills, confidence and qualifications over a 10-week period, and is followed by work placement opportunities with employers. It is a charity which Barclays also supports non-financially through offering mock interviews, CV-writing and financial literacy sessions.
