Help young people in Africa get a leg up to help themselves. Unicef helps young Africans set themselves up with a small business, such as a food stall or bread shop. This means their brothers and sisters then have the money to go to school. Many of these young people lost their parents to AIDS related illness. Whatever you give the government will increase it by gift aid if you pay tax.....and even better, Barclays will match all donations pound for pound up to my target limit of £1000. Your £10 pounds could multiply to £25. £16 could raise just over £35.

£35 will provide a carpenter with all the tools needed to start his/her own business. £500 will buy all the equipment needed to buy a hen house, feed and birds to establish a chicken business.

My ride will be 100km from Fulham FC's training ground in Motspur Park in South London out to the Surrey Hills and back.
