Robin Hood

Robin Hood is New York City’s largest poverty fighting organization.  Robin Hood finds, fuels, and creates the most impactful and scalable solutions lifting families out of poverty in New York City. The organization partners with over 250 nonprofits to support food, housing, education, legal services, workforce development, and more to New Yorkers living in poverty across all five boroughs. Each year, Robin Hood reduces barriers to opportunities for nearly half a million New Yorkers. From keeping more than 200,000 New Yorkers from going hungry, to helping more than 10,000 of our neighbors secure jobs to helping nearly 11,000 remain stably housed and off the streets, Robin Hood is there for New Yorkers in need.

In response to COVID-19, Robin Hood launched its Relief Fund to support nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of the crisis.  New York City has been one of the places hardest hit by the pandemic, and New Yorkers living in poverty have been most impacted. Before the pandemic, nearly half of New Yorkers had less than $400 in savings, and now, many have lost their jobs.  The Robin Hood Relief Fund is helping New Yorkers by providing emergency support through food, housing, job security and more.
