The Lesbian & Gay Foundation's Summer Fundraiser
Thursday 11 July, The Battery Club
The Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF) is a charity offering a wide range of services to lesbian, gay and bisexual communities.
We support over 40,000 people a year, and provide more direct services and resources to more LGB people than any other organisation of our kind in the UK.
We campaign for a fair and equal society where all lesbian, gay and bisexual people can achieve their full potential. Our mission is: ‘Ending Homophobia, Empowering People’.

Enough is Enough! ACTION Against Homophobia
Every single day, lesbian, gay and bisexual people are the targets of hatred and violence because of who they are and who they choose to love. Our Enough is Enough! campaign calls on people to take action to combat homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. Supported by Sir Ian McKellen and Antony Cotton, we’ve reached over 1.7 million people with this message and with your help, will reach even more.
Safer Schools Packs
Part of our Enough is Enough! ACTION against homophobia campaign, Safer Schools Packs tackle bullying in schools and are full of resources, information and advice for education professionals. We’ve sent out over 800 packs around the UK so far, many in response to young people who are facing daily abuse.
More than half of lesbian, gay and bisexual young people still experience homophobic bullying in Britain’s schools yet only half report that their school says homophobic bullying is wrong. There is still significant work to be done.
Thank you
Your donation raises vital funds and enables us to take a stand against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in society today. It will support young LGB people in schools to be themselves and learn in a safe, inclusive environment, giving them the confidence and skills to succeed in life.
