Barefoot Bob Graham Round

Barefoot Bob Graham Round · 21 August 2021
Along side an amazing support team of whom I am all extremely grateful to, I will be attempting to complete the Bob Graham Round Route in the Lake District completely BAREFOOT. This round consists of climbing 42 fells over 66 miles (106 km) with 26,900 feet (8,200 m) of ascent on some of the most challenging terrain in the UK. I will be completing the challenge barefoot and any proceeds raised will go to Cancer Research UK. I am planning to attempt this challenge on the 27th August but this may change due to weather conditions.
Cancer is a horrible disease which affects so many people and causes so much pain. This event is being done in memory of all of those people who we have lost, including my mam, Angela, who died from cancer in 2018 following a long battle with the disease.
This event is also being completed to celebrate the amazing work of Cancer Research UK and others who are actively helping people to live longer happier healthier lives despite what is thrown at them.
What can we do today? Firstly any donations are greatly appreciated and will actively to towards the brilliant work of Cancer Research UK, which not only looks at improving treatment but also the preventative research that can help reduce the risk of some cancers developing.
It has been found that 4 in 10 cases of cancer can be prevented and through lifestyle changes, please have a look here and I will continue to share peer reviewed research and information to help us all make the best health choices: Lifestyle Cancer Prevention
Eat well, move more, enjoy nature :)
