The St. Philip's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a charity fundraising committee run by parents and carers of children in the school and some of the staff. We run social and fundraising events to help raise money for some of the little extras that make the children's learning more fun. In the last couple of years our projects have included wall bars and Nativity costumes, a drumming workshop and a visit by an author, laptops and library books! Our main focus for this academic year is raising money to support the development of outdoor areas at the school. By coming together as a community of parents and friends we can make a real difference to our school. If you feel able to support the school by making a donation – however large or small – it will be put to very good use. If you would prefer to give your time and energy instead, please do speak to one of the PTA committee about how you can help. New ideas are always welcome!

Story

Our school playground is in need of improvement- new playground equipment, an outdoor classroom (which will also provide a much needed quiet area and some shade at break & lunchtimes) and a wildlife haven.

As all 3 of us are part of the school and can see the importance of this project which needs to raise £10,000 in total.

To play our part we have set ourselves the challenge to cover 250km as a family under our own steam (walk/run/cycle/scoot) during the active travel challenge. The sponsored event will run from Friday 06 May until Monday 23 May.

If you would like to sponsor us or make a donation we would be very grateful.
