Story

This is the next in, hopefully, a long list of charitable acts I'll be doing throughout the year after a very successful (Thank you so much everyone) 24 hour live stream which raised nearly 2k for PIPS.

I lost my mother to Cancer at a young age and so much time has passed that the only time I really remember her is in my dreams. The only thing I can distinctively remember about her was the way she answered the telephone.. the sing song "hello" when she picked up the landline.

I have colleagues that knew and loved her, their memories often make me laugh. I know stories about her that bring warmth to me. BUT I do not recall her ever losing her hair. Maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy.. I am blessed, however, with extremely thick and lucious locks.. I was thinking of getting a normal haircut post-covid.. but after a dare I have found myself with a mullet for some months and it has grown out quite a bit... How much of a waste would it be for me just to throw such a gift out?

The mullet stays. I'm aiming to keep growing it until New years eve... Assuming it doesn't get to be a hindrance.

And when It's cut it will be donated to The Little Princess trust to be made into a real hair wig for a young person with Cancer or other conditions.

This isn't cheap... Approx £550 goes into a real hair wig and it takes about a dozen donations to make ONE wig.

So help me raise a few hundred bob, lets give them a chunk of my glorious mane and no financial worries to go with it.
