Story
This summer I was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD). I won’t die from it but I’ll die with it unless a cure is found. I’m doing okay, I’m on effective meds and am still working and enjoying my painting. PD effects everyone differently and who knows what the future holds for me. An important part of managing the condition (alongside medication) is keeping physically fit, so my best chum Caroline and I have set ourselves a big challenge for next year. We want to raise as much money as we can for Parkinson’s UK to help to find a cure for the disease by cycling from London to Paris in 4 days in July 2019. This will be a huge challenge for us, so please help us to achieve this by sponsoring us - we want to raise money for all those out there hoping for a cure - this would be the most thoughtful, positive and supportive thing you could do. If you were going to send us Christmas cards or buy us presents this year, we would be really grateful if you would sponsor us instead. Every little bit really does make a difference.
Let’s just “keep on keeping on” and do everything we can to help find a cure for this crappy disease. Thank you! 😊xx
