There are many deserving causes across the world and it's impossible to support them all. While Covid-19 has affected everybody in this and other developed countries, the way in which it has spread through populations much less equipped to respond, and less resistant to disease than we are in the UK, is just heart-breaking. To watch the news and see entire families taken away, because they cannot receive the medical treatment they need, to see governments struggling to look after their own people, to hear of the death rates and see the hastily dug graves is just devastating. Please help. Our rural churches are also in dire straights, struggling with declining congregations to minister as best they can, and still doing all they can to maintain their listed Victorian, or earlier, buildings. Can you imagine our villages without that focal point, unable to celebrate births and marriages, unable to say good bye to loved ones, or to visit their graves? I cant. Again, please help.
