Red News Sellers' 2021 Santa Hat Wearing/Walk/Run Appeal (Part/Year5).

Last year as another lockdown approached we were unable to do our annual selling in Santa Hats to help raise money for Manchester Mind. We wanted to do something - so upped the ante and walked 20k and ran 10k raising, thanks to you, an incredible £1881.

This year we are delighted to be back selling RedNews at the ground so will wear Santa Hats before our game against Brighton on 18th December to help raise money for a charity close to our hearts and minds; Manchester Mind. The sellers don't even moan about doing it these days! We can't collect in person at all nor accept cash donations but you can donate online and we will carry the donation QR code with us that day and it will be printed in the December RN fanzine.

But we also wanted to do more - so have decided to try and beat last year - total and effort. I will walk 25k on 15th December (which to me, is a lot to do, and a big deal - you've all seen me remember!), and Ben, John, Nathan and Nik seller's will each run 15k that week. My wife and Sister in Law have stepped up and will also walk 10k on the 15th.

Reds donate online each year and it means a great deal to a great cause. It's a big deal to us as we hope to again raise a few quid. 

If you can help, that is great and it goes to an exceptional cause. It means a lot.

And though I am writing this a bit early, I hope you all get to have a good Christmas, and most importantly, take care of yourselves and your mental health. Our emails and inboxes are always open to readers if you want to have a chat and we are there nearly every game if you want to talk when we sell.
