Earlier this summer we decided to get off our well-worn sofas, turn off the TV and lose a couple of pounds training for the Great North Run.  Despite the inevitable back strains and dodgy knees which followed, the big day is almost upon us, and we are probably as ready as we'll ever be.

 

We are running for Cancer Research UK, a worthy cause close to both our hearts.  All donations welcome no matter how big or how small, so if you are able to spare a few quid, we would be extremely grateful.
