SERV OBN (Service Emergency Rider Volunteers Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Northamptonshire)

As you can see from the photo I am a rider volunteer myself. We are Volunteer Rapid Response Medical Transport Service delivering Blood, Platelets, Plasma, Samples, Vaccines, Pharmaceuticals, X-Rays, Scans, Donor Breast Milk & any other urgently needed medical items - Out of Hours & Free of Charge to the NHS.

We have 8 motorcycles that need fuel, sevicing and maintenance which as most of you know is very expensive. I am undertaking this challenge to assist in these expenses because with out help we cannot provide this valuable service.

SERV OBN receives no government funding and relies soley on donations from the public and sponsorship to survive.

As a volunteer we receive no payment for our time.

Basically the challenge involves visiting the 4 corners of the UK by motorcycle in 36 hours. I shall be starting at Lowestoft on the east coast on May 2nd 2014 then travelling onto Lands End in Cornwall, then to St Davids in Wales and finishing at John o'Groats in Scotland hopefully in 36 hours gulp!!. Oh yes it is achievable without breaking the speed limit and there is an allowance for some sleep along the way.
