Story
2 years ago, my younger brother Luke and I ran the London Marathon to raise awareness and as much money as possible for the wonderful charity ‘Target Ovarian Cancer’. It was an emotional experience that I will never forget with pain that shall live in my knees until they no longer work...
It’s time to go again...this time flying solo and with a will and determination to fly the Target Ovarian Flag high for all the tireless and heartfelt work that they do for women of all ages who are coming to terms with this illness. If raising more awareness could lead to early diagnosis, successful treatment and hopefully save a life is the greatest achievement I can hope to gain from this.
My mum fought this cancer for 2 years with strength, faith, a clear head and an ever strengthening love for her family and friends. It is in her memory that I tackle this challenge again, to keep her spirit alive by always trying to help others as she did her whole life.
Give generously, give what you can...every pound donated makes a massive difference to our mums, sisters, aunties, cousins, daughters...and most of all to Target Ovarian Cancer to continue their amazing work.
