Story

Firstly thank you for taking the time to look at this page and read abit about what me and my dad are taking on.

I first started running in 2016 when I signed up to do the Brighton Half Marathon. I'd always had in interest in running and had watched my dad over the years take on challenge after challenge and I thought I best give it ago.  Throughout the year I had set myself multiple challenges and became abit of a YES man when signing up to things. This has continued into 2017 with me deciding to take on the London Marathon and although I missed out on the ballot I saw an opportunity to further the charity work I had been involved with last year and raise some money for a local charity, the Sussex Beacons, who do phenomenal work in providing specialist care and support for those living with HIV.

My dad, the legend Pascal started running in 2007 having played football, refereed and managing football teams back home (Castlewellan). To date he has ran the 2007 and 2009 Dublin Marathons and I was privileged to see him run the 2016 Manchester Marathon, even seeing him glide over the finish line. The man is a beast and he is the inspiration behind me running this marathon and this will be our first one together...Makes it abit competitive aswell (I will lose).

I would be eternally grateful if you could support us along the way and help us to our target 🎯. It'll be the toughest challenge to date for myself but will be sweet to be running it with my dad.

Cheers,

Baz
