In June of this year,  I came down with a severe infection and was admitted to Kings College Hospital in London for almost a week.  It was at the height of Covid lockdown, when nurses and doctors and other support staff were working very hard to support the system. The doctors, nurses , cleaners, catering staff, porters, other support and specialists who looked after me were truly amazing  I will always remember their commitment, sacrifice and their positive attitude.  It is this dedication that truly brought home to me what heroes the NHS Team really are,  and it’s also for this reason I choose to support their charity .
