Story

On the 14th Oct I will be running in the 2nd Liverpool marathon, this is the exact date to the year that my amazing girlfriend was diagnosed with breast cancer. The 14th Oct is also her birthday not the best birthday that year I can tell you. She has been brilliant throughout not only fighting and beating the cancer but also raising 3 children one grandchild and successfully opening operating a fledging business through a recession which has grown and sill trading

Throughout all this she has to endure 5 months of chemotherapy and 8 weeks of radiotherapy. It was during the radiotherapy sessions we were introduced to Clatterbridge hospital and they're amazing staff who were brilliant throughout. as a small token of appreciation I am running the marathon and any donations I receive will be donated to the Clatterbridge charity.
