Story
I will always remember how much Barry helped me out with frenchie club. Especially with planning the trips, he would even camp over night at the trips & do practise runs to make sure our day out would go smoothly. He was a member who regularly came along to the meets & trips & will be truly missed.
About 7 weeks ago when Hilda phoned me to say Barry was in hospital & very poorly he had told her to call Maddy (me) to look after Buster & Eric whilst he was in hospital. Unfortunately my Tilly was due to have puppies that day so I couldn’t take Buster & Eric on. The boys were staying in Barry’s flat & a his friends were calling by checking on them every couple hours. I knew my friend Michelle volunteered for Phoenix French bulldog Rescue & gave her a call to see what could be done for the boys. She had the boys collected the next morning & taken to Phoenix Foster home near Southport.
A few weeks later Barry was out of hospital & returned back to frenchie club with his boys! We noticed Barry was a little delayed but still had his usual sense of humour & love for the French bulldog club. Michelle from Phoenix had said the boys are always welcome at Phoenix if Barry needs any respite or falls poorly again.
Last Friday I received a call saying Barry wasn’t doing well again so he was back in hospital. Phoenix collected the Buster & Eric once again & took them to the foster home in the Midlands.
Tuesday morning I received a phone call to say Barry had sadly passed away on Monday night & that the boys had been told & were taken out to do something nice that day in Memory of their Daddy.
Buster & Eric will stay together at the Phoenix Forster care until they find the boys the perfect home & most importantly together as brothers forever.
We will be having memorial walk for Barry & raise funds for this amaizng charity who have truly taken care of our Buster & Eric in every way possibly.
This Sunday 12th Aug at Chorlton Water Park. We will do a lap in Memory of Barry Seed.
Dinner & drinks afterwards at the Greenfinch Didsbury.
