Sick, injured and homeless pets have relied on us since 1897. Thousands of abandoned or unwanted, ill or injured, pets turn to us for help every year. Our doors are always open to them, and with your support, they always will be.

Story

We are all taking on the challenge of running 10,000 kilometres! Some of us have never run before, some of us are a bit more experienced, but it will be a challenge for us all!

We have chosen to run for the Blue Cross and would love to raise some money to help support their vision: That every pet will enjoy a healthy life in a happy home. The new Suffolk centre (which is opposite the Suffolk Ski Centre) has replaced the former site in Felixstowe, and was officially opened on 25 May 2016. They aim to help over 800 dogs and cats each year in the centre.

All the money we raise will go directly towards helping the thousands of pets that are cared for, rehomed and treated by the Blue Cross each year. Every penny we raise is really appreciated and really will make a difference. Thank you so much for supporting our chosen cause!

"The Blue Cross care for more than 40,000 pets every year but we know it’s not enough – there are many, many more out there who still desperately need us and we must be there for them. By 2020 we want to be helping 70,000 animals a year, and your support will help to make sure this happens.

  • £2 a day could keep a cat warm and safe at one of our centres
  • £20 could fund an unwanted horse’s basic hoof care
  • £136 could provide clinical care for a homeless dog during their stay with us"
