Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I saw and heard when I was a child how several members of my relatives were diagnosed with Diabetes, including my late grandfather. They lived with it. But I had no first had experience.

It was until 2012 when the eldest of my twin daughters was
diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She was almost 10 years old. That was shocking.
It did not only change her life but ours too. However, with the great medical support and advice she is managing her Diabetes well.

In early 2017, her twin sister was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Less shocking but more surprising! Diabetes could start without the classical known symptoms.

My daughters ask me every now and then whether there will be a
chance for them to get cured from Diabetes. My answer is, there is always Hope! About 4 millions people in the UK are living on that hope.

This is our chance to raise awarness about Diabetes and how important it is to change our lifestyle.

Please, help Diabetes UK with making that Hope achievable. Every
little helps!

Thank you!
