Mountain rescue team members are on call every day, of every month, of every year. Whatever the time, day or night. Whatever the weather. They do it voluntarily. They do it without question. At no cost to the casualty. And it's thanks to your generosity, they can continue saving lives. So thank you.

Story

I'll be taking part in a Hebrides trek to raise money for Mountain Rescue England and Wales (MREW).

For anyone who doesn't know, MREW volunteers give up their free time and put their lives on the line to save others.

As for my part in it:

I can't climb, but I can bake.

In the run-up to the trek, I'll be visiting 16 agencies in London, by foot, with a suitcase of salted caramel brownies at the ready. From Farringdon to the far reaches of Barnes, feeding and fleecing tech PR like never before.

Each salted caramel brownie will be guaranteed gooey, not cakey and cost £2 minimum donation either here (Just Giving) or in cash on the day.

Want to order a box'o'brownies for work or play?

Every £10: Five gooey brownies and an Acer raffle ticket.
Every £20: Eleven gooey brownies and two Acer raffle tickets.

Orders can be placed by donating here. Please put your name and agency.

If you want me to visit your offices in London with a batch of salted caramel Brownies and haven't heard from me, tweet me (@basil_knows) with the hashtag #BrowniesSaveLives.
