Uni of Bath Hockey's Run to Rimini for the NHS

Run to Rimini for the NHS · 6 April 2020
On the 4th April the University of Bath Hockey Club were meant to be travelling 1128 miles to Rimini in Nothern Italy for the annual sports tour. However, due to the border closures and lockdowns across the UK and Europe, caused by coronavirus, this was not possible. For many of us this was a much anticipated and long awaited respite from the daily routine of university life. But as is necessary we put our misfortune in context with that of those that are more vulnerable or fighting the virus on the frontline. From this we realise that we can make a difference and do our part in joining the fight against the disease.
Therefore, collectively we are going to be running the distance from Bath to Rimini. We will do this over 28 days and will be looking to raise as much money as we can for NHS Charitie Together, to support the amazing work they have been doing during this pandemic and the 72 years before this.
So please donate generously and help us to support those who are looking after all of us.
