Inspired by more sporty people in my family and filled with false confidence from completing a handful of parkruns and one 10k I seemed to have signed up to run a half marathon. Having never run anything like this far this is going to be a massive challenge for me.
Knowing that I will need as much support as possible and being as competitive as he is, Rob has decided to sign up too. His main aim being to make sure I actually turn up on the day. Having done long races before, Rob will be trying to beat his previous times.
Children of Masindi are an incredible small charity that particularly helps children and young people with disabilities and educational needs in a small area of Uganda. It also happens to be a charity founded by Rob’s mum, Karen, so we’ve been able to see the amazing difference even small donations can make. We would be so grateful if you could sponsor us.
