In 2019 my best friend was diagnosed with pyometra, an infection in her womb. She had to have life threatening surgery that we weren't sure she would make it out of, but thanks to the PDSA she did and they bought us extra time with her. It wasn't until late 2020 that she started to develop cancerous lumps on her mammary glands, the PDSA made her as comfortable as possible in her final year with me, and sadly she passed away in February 2021. I want to thank the PDSA for everything they did, the surgeries and the comfort they gave us both.
